Title: Black beans, spicy
Yield: 8 servings
saute onion, garlic and jalepeno in olive oil.
Add beans plus water and cumin
simmer for a long time, stirring occasionaly (maybe about 2 hours or until very soft and breaking down slightly)
Optional: Can use "Verde Valle" beans world food isle Meijer, instead of black beans.
Optional: Leave out the jalepeno and use 1/2 tsp. chilli powder + 1/8 tsp cayenne instead
Optional: Add lime juice and cilantro before serving
