In a large dutch oven combine broth, macaroni, salt, mustard, onionand nutmeg. Cook over medium-high, stirring constantly until small bubbles begin to form around edges, about 3 mins. Reduce to medium low cook for about 14 mins.
Add squash cook 1 min more.
Remove from heat and add cheese, garnish with chopped chives.
