Title: Cabbage soup
Cut vegetables in small to medium pieces in to a large kettle and cover with water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. reduce to simmer and continue cooking until vegetables are tender. Season with salt, pepper, curry and parsley. this soup can be eaten anytime you are hungry. Eat as much as you want, whenever you want as this soup will not add calories.
the more you eat, the more you will lose. Fill a thermos in the morning if you will be away during the day. If eaten alone for indefinite periods you would suffer malnutrition.
Day 1. All fruits except bananas. Cantaloupe and watermelon are lower in calories then most other fruits. Eat only the soup and the fruits. For beverages, drink unsweetened tea, cranberry juice or water
Day 2. All vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed with fresh, frozen or canned vegetables. Try to eat green leafy vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas or corn. Eat along with the soup. At dinner time on this day, reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter. DO NOT EAT ANY FRUITS.
Day 3. Eat all the soup, fruits and vegetables you want. DO NOT have a baked potato. If you have eaten for three days as above you will have lost 5-7 pounds.
Day 4. Bananas and Skim milk. Eat as many as 3 bananas and as much skim milk as you would like along with the soup. Bananas are high in calories & carbohydrates as is milk, but on this day your body will need potassium, carbohydrates, proteins, and calcium to lessen your cravings for sweets.
Day 5. Beef and Tomatoes. You may have 10-20 ounces of beef and a can of tomatoes or as many as 6 fresh tomatoes today. Try to drink at least 3- 6oz. glasses of water to clear the uric acid in your body. Eat the soup at least once today.
Day 6. Beef and Vegetables. Eat to your heart's content. You can have 2-3 steaks with green leafy vegetables, but NO baked potato. Eat soup at least once today.
Day 7. Brown Rice, unsweetened fruit juice and vegetables. Again stuff yourself. Be sure to have the soup at least once today. If you have not cheated on the above diet you will have lost 12-17 lbs.. If you have lost more than 15 lbs. stay off the diet for 2 days before resuming the diet again at Day 1.
Avoid: Bread, alcohol, carbonated beverages (including diet drinks) & fried foods. You can substitute skinless chicken for beef. Stick with water, unsweetened tea, black coffee. unsweetened juices or skim milk
