Title: Red Onions Pickled
Yield: 2 pints
Slice onion and place in bowl. Add boiling water to the bowl - toss and let soak for 5 mins. Drain.
In a large saucepan gently heat water and vinegar then dissolve sugar and salt - add spices.
Pack onions into two pint jars and add the liquid.
Let stand for a day or two on the counter - then refridgerate for up to two weeks.
